I AM AFRICAN

Being adorned  with the beauty of Africa, she looked African; the skin, the scarf, the wear and the smile; She is African.

Representing her continent and what it stands for, not even the white man's shoe could alter the definition of uniqueness she portrayed African to be.

This Is a mother and that is my motherland.

This was the beauty of Africa, the day I turned 15 , I accepted I was African. I had always wanted a miracle to say I was Asian; because why not?;  I didn't like anything we did; it was like we didn't want to dance to the worlds tune.

The past 5 years of my life has been nothing but accepting who I am, where I'm from and where I live.

Noe i dread nothing more than speaking Ill of my continent.

I just can't wait to see more, eat more and feel more of who I really am.
