Residents at Bubiashie Ashie- Kumowu Street complain of not having gutters, that whenever there is a down pour the street gets flooded. Speaking to some individuals there, they share a story of how the situation led to the death of a schoolgirl. After a heavy rainfall on Friday. “On Friday, its rain heavily here and since it was a weekday, students have to go to school. A schoolgirl who is in J.H.S two (2) was on her way to school. The street was flooded, so she attempted to jump over the water mistakenly she slipped and fall. Not knowing there was a live wire inside the water, at once she got shocked by the wire and died on the spot. If a gutter would have been there the wire would have fallen inside the gutter and the girl would not jump.” Fafa who resides at Bubiashie narrated the story.
